To cope with an increase in demand, Jennings SEAT has appointed an additional Motability specialist at its Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough.
Following a significant increase in the number of Motability applications processed over the last few months as customers take advantage of nil advance payments on selected models, the Middlesbrough dealership now has two dedicated Motability specialists on hand to see to customer’s needs.
For the past couple of years, sales executive, Tony Smith, 33, from Ingleby Barwick, has been responsible for Motability customers at the dealership.
Having successfully completed relevant training, sales executive, Craig Trainor, 21, from Ingleby Barwick, is also now a fully trained and dedicated Motability specialist.
The dedicated duo are looking forward to assisting more Motability customers on the road to mobility in the coming months.
Tony Smith, motability specialist/sales executive at Jennings SEAT in Middlesbrough, said; “Customers who are eligible to purchase a car through Motability, can visit the showroom and test drive the full SEAT range, in addition to receiving advice and guidance from two dedicated Motability specialists.”
Jennings SEAT was accredited Motability specialist status in 2006. The branch offers the whole range of SEAT vehicles, including the Ibiza, Leon, Altea, Altea XL, Exeo and Alhambra, through the Motability programme.
Last year SEAT saw a remarkable 835% increase in Motability applications to end the year with more than 1900 registrations and this year the brand is continuing to make its fleet of popular, practical and exciting cars available via the scheme with popular versions of the Ibiza, Leon and Altea are currently available with zero advanced payment to qualifying Motability customers.
Tony added: “Almost all Motability clients choose to have their car on contract hire which means a new car every three years, insurance and personal accident cover, service and maintenance, full breakdown assistance from the RAC, free replacement tyres fitted by Kwik-Fit and window or windscreen replacement at no extra cost.”
Motability is a national charity which was set up by the Government in 1977 with the object to help disabled people and their families achieve greater mobility on the road.
To qualify for a SEAT car at Jennings through Motability, customers must be in receipt of one of the following benefits: the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Allowance (HRMC of DVLA), War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMA) or currently driving a government vehicle, trike or mini.
