Jennings SEAT’s Cargo Fleet Lane branch in Middlesbrough has been awarded ‘national fleet centre’ status.
The recent announcement from the Spanish manufacturer means the Middlesbrough dealership is now able to accommodate local and national businesses with company car and fleet vehicle needs with models from the SEAT range. Achieving the status will also contribute towards increasing SEAT’s market share for fleet vehicles.
Being awarded ‘national fleet centre’ status has resulted in a promotion for a loyal and dedicated member of staff, who will take over the reins as SEAT fleet and business sales manager.
Geoff Robson joined the company 14 years ago when he was appointed as commercial sales executive at the group’s Ford Commercial Sales Centre in Stockton.
In the same year, when Ford launched its Business Centre initiative across the nation, Geoff transferred to work at the Stockton Business Centre as a local business executive.
The role involved supplying Ford cars and Ford commercial vehicles to both local and national companies, including everything from one-man operations and multi-national firms, to local authorities and nhs sectors.
“This is an exciting challenge for me and I am delighted to take on the new role. The new status will not only enable us to cater for the demand of businesses on a local and national level, but it will also contribute towards increasing SEAT’s share in a highly competitive fleet vehicle market,” said Geoff Robson, SEAT fleet and business sales manager at JenningsSEAT in Middlesbrough.
