Jennings SEAT is piling the pressure on drivers of older vehicles with a series of last-minute scrappage offers available at the Cargo Fleet Lane dealership.
The clock is already ticking for motorists looking to take advantage of the scrappage scheme, which is scheduled to come to an end on 28 February, or sooner if the Government funds run dry.
Jennings SEAT has heightened the sense of urgency by adding major cash contributions of its own to the Government’s standard £2000 subsidy.
On several of the most popular models in the SEAT range, including the practical Altea 1.4 S (85 PS) and the Exeo executive saloon model, JenningsSEAT has agreed to double the Government’s scrappage payment.
The Altea, which comes with air conditioning, electric front windows and an MP3-compatible stereo system as standard, qualifying motorists will receive up to £4175 off the recommended retail price of the vehicle.
Craig Johnson, franchise manager at the Jennings SEAT dealership in Middlesbrough, said; “The scrappage scheme has been a phenomenal success for us and it has encouraged drivers of older cars to exchange them for safer more economical models.”
“I have never known discounts like these on new cars before and I doubt I will again, so I would urge anyone with a car more than ten years old to pop into the dealership and make the most of this opportunity while they still can.”
